I just finished reading the book The Au Pairs: Sun Kissed by Melissa De La Cruz.

One of the characters in the book is Eliza and she is also one of the main characters. She had an internship for one of the high top fashion companies for the summer while she's at the Hamptons, which is where she hangs out every summer. She has a boyfriend who lives near the Hamptons. However, Eliza soon gets fired from her internship and is at a lost for a while. But, she soon has the idea to hold her own fashion show on the beach using her outfits she desgined. The show goes amazingly well and the press is there, as well as a college professor from Parson's school of Design, which offered a scholarship for Eliza to come in the fall.

My main character is Ginny. She is shy and awkward, but she also is willing to take chances and go out on a limb if she has to.

If Ginny could go anywhere, I think she would just stay at her home in New Jersey, because even though she is willing to be adventurous when her beloved deceased aunt leaves notes telling her to, she feels uncomfortable doing it and would rather stay with her friends and family where she has always been. Ginny would never EVER have backpacked around Europe until her aunt, who she loved and trusted, told her to.

I'm reading The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and I'm on page 13.

If I could travel anywhere in the world with the main character of my book, I'd choose the Underworld. I would like to go there to visit famous people from the past. Also I could visit dead relatives and see what its actually like after death. Percy would be able to take me here, and no other book character really could.

I am reading Star Wars Tales of Bounty Hunters by Kevin J. Anderson.

My main Charecter right now is IG-88 and i think that he would travel to Asia because there are more chances to find assassiation jobs there. Also he could hide easily from the authorities that are looking to dismantle him on sight. He also can stage his master plan there for all droid's to destroy all living things.

I am currently reading The Slippery Sop by Lemony Snicket and I am on page 107. Sunny Baudelaire is an infant who has recently learned to walk and is still learning to speak properly. Her favorite activity is biting things with the few extremely sharp teeth she has, she also enjoys cooking. Sunny has recently been separated from her two siblings and is kidnapped by Count Olaf on top of Mortmain Mountain. Though she doesn’t know it, if Sunny could choose any where to go she would choose a smoky vertical flame diversion cutting through one of the mountains bellow her. Sunny would choose this place because at this moment her siblings are climbing up this passage to get to the V.F.D. secrete headquarters where they hope to find their missing sister.

I just finished HIVE Ovcrlord Protocol by Mark Walden.
My character is Otto Malpense, a smart juvenile who was kidnapped, right after his making a fool out of the British Prime Minister, to attend HIVE.
If Malpense could go anywhere, he would go to his hometown, England. Ever since his kidnapping to HIVE's secret location volcanic island, he has been looking for the chance to get back home to his orphanage, which is in Britain. He hates feeling trapped in HIVE's island which he doesn't even know its location on the map.

Bridget, that sounds like an interesting book. The Count Olaf you mentioned sounds like a mean person, kidnapping a child like that! Is it about vampires? The term Count and VFD made me wonder...

I am reading I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. I am on page 225. The main character number four or fake name "John". He is an alien from the planet Lorien. He looks the same as a normal person but he has powers beyond humans such as being able to run sixty miles per hour or throwing an object miles. Also he would develop legacies which are other powers. If he could go anywhere he would go to his home planet of Lorien even though its entire population was killed. He would go there because its where hes from and he was forced to flee the planet at only the age of three. Also his "watcher" tells him of the beauty and the magical powers of Lorien. Finally he would what to see what has happened to the planet know after everyone has been killed.

I am reading Looking for Alaska by John Green and am on page 99.

In my book, the main character, Miles (A.K.A. Pudge" is attending a boarding school in Alabama for his high school career. Miles from home, he finds himself in a group of misfits with a habit for pranking the "Weekday Warriors." (They are the upperclassmen of Culver Creek.)

Pudge has an obsession with memorizing the last words of famous people- Presidents, authors, philosophers, he knows them all. This is why I would think Pudge would probably like to visit a museum or a large historical site. History is his favorite subject and it has become almost a hobby for him.

Lena- After reading your description of the book and its characters, it actually sounds really good! Are you liking it so far?

I just now finished the book Dog Man: Uncommon Life on a Faraway Mountain by Martha Sherrill.

Kitako- She is the wife of the main character, Morie. She was raised in Tokyo as a city girl and was a teacher for a time before she married Morie and moved to the Akita region in northern Japan, which is called the snow country. She is strong headed but loyal and is mother to four children.

If Kitako could go anywhere in the world it would be Tokyo. This is because she misses it so desperately and her family all lives there. She has a knew love for the harsh land of northern Japan, but has always wished to come back to the place of her first home and resume her easier, modern life there and live how she always wanted to. Just a visit would make Kitako happy, but she does love the snow country now and the people who live in it, so she will not be disappointed if she never returns to her first home.

KMcKaig6-
Wow. That would be an interesting thing to live through and experience, your dead aunt sending you letters telling you to do certain things. I would be so shocked and afraid I would have to take someone with me, just to make sure I was not going loco or anything like that.

I am reading Pretty Little Secrets by Sara Shepard and on page 202.

One of the characters in my book is Emily. Emily is a swimmer, and some-what shy. I really do not currently think that Emily would want to move anywhere because she just made some new friends. Emily and her friends are planning this big prank on all of these rich snobby people in Rosewood. Currently in the book it is Christmas time, so the prank is meant to show people the real meaning of Christmas. I think right now she is fairly happy with where she is at.

I'm reading Millions by Frank Cottrell Boyce, and am on page 195.

The main character of this book Damian. He's about nine years old and lives with his dad and brother in the United Kingdom. After his mom died he became interested in saints and knows everything there is to know about them.

I think that Damian would chose to go to Holy sights around the world. He would enjoy being where the Saints supposedly had been. Damian would love gaining that new knowledge and might even feel closer to his mom.

I am reading Ruthless by Sara Shepard and I am on page 20. Emily Fields is an athletic girl in the group of friends. She does competitive swimming at the school. She is also a weak link in the group because their stalker "A" seems to a little more incriminating information about her. "A" told everyone that she was lesbian and ruined her scholarship for swimming because of pills she had no idea she was taking them. If she could go anywhere, I think she would go to Texas for a few reasons. For one, that is were her mom and dad moved because of his Army job. Also, "A" can't really antagonize her from Pennsylvia if she is all the way in Texas.

KmsKaig6- ith ink that's wired that she would stay home even thought she is adventurous. I would LOVE to go somewhere other than boring old Gainesville any day!!!

My book is Wintergirls by: Laurie Halse Anderson just finished the book.

One of the main characters is a girl who is about 18 named Lia. She is very deppressed and really is not very wanting to do many things. However Lia, does know this guy friend who moved to Mexico without her because he could not bring a sick girl with a history of cutting and not eating, he wants her to heal. So I assume that lia would really want to visit him to yell at him for leaving her alone to work out her own problems with herself. So this little break from her problems might seem helpful to her.

Lena- thats sounds like a really cool book! Should I read it?

If the main character of this book, Percy Jackson, could go anywhere in the world he would go to Hawaii. Percy would visit Hawaii because it is an island surrounded by the ocean. This would draw him there because he is the son of Poisiden the God of the Sea. Percy can will water to do what he wishes so he could do anything he wants to do on the island.

Paige- I recently read that book. Tell me if you like it.

I am currently reading Dark Life by Kat falls, and I am on page 13. The main character in my novel is Ty. Ty is 15 years old and lives under the sea. His parents also own two hundred acres of land in the ocean. If Ty could travel anywhere, I would think he would travel to the mythological place, Atlantis. I think he would go there because he hates the world above on land, and Atlantis is supposedly the best place because it is the underwater kingdom of Poseidon.

so far the story is about Mississippi and its racist past, and there is not a an actual character or person who would want go somewhere, so i will just say where i believe the author would want to go. I believe the author, Charles Eagles, would want to go to Mississippi and more specifically, to the university of Mississippi because that is the setting in which all the events in the book takes place.

I just finished reading The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin.

Judge Ford ~ Judge Ford lives in the Westing Sunset Towers. She plays a role in the game Mr. Sam W. Westing plans. The game is for which one of his heirs gets his will which is 200 million dollars. She is a women of wise knowledge and has a history of solving disputes among the local residents. I would not consider Judge Ford to be a main character, but more like a secondary character.

At the end of the book, on page 213, Judge Ford announces she as been appointed to the United States Supreme Court which is very prestigious. It may be self explanatory and a little boring since she has the whole world to go to, but, I believe she wants to go to Washington D.C. to fulfill her new duties. She must feel proud of her accomplishments and wants to go to work right away.

I just finished Through My Eyes by Tim Tebow.

One character in my book is Tim Tebow, and he is also the main character. Tim is a strong Christian person and his dad is a missionary that gave Bible lessons to his kids throughout their childhood. Tim is the kind of person that always strives for success in everything he does and is extremely competitive. He also enjoys giving back to his community and is a very loving person, especially for kids. For example, during his college life, he went to the hospital and visited the ill children more than once a week and comforted and bonded with them.

If Tim could travel anywhere in the world, I definitely think he would travel to the Philippines. Every year, his dad takes many trips there to preach and speak the word of God to many of the citizens in the Philippines. As a 15 year old, Tim had the opportunity to travel there and had one of the greatest experiences of his life. He always described how much he wanted to go back, so I believe he would travel back to the Philippines to create special bonds with the children and preach the word of God, to follow in the footsteps of his dad. I would imagine that doing this would give him the gratifying feeling that he gave back to many others and touched them in many ways, which would make him feel incredible.

I am reading the Accidental Family by Rowan Coleman, and I will post the page number I am on when I get home. I am almost finished though.

The character I choose in my book would be Izzy. Izzy is the younger of her sister, Bella. Izzy is a very free spirit who speaks her mind whenever she wants, to whatever is said. Izzy is six or seven years old, so this explains most of the reasons why she is so open.

If Izzy could travel anywhere in the world, I can bet that she would probably want to go to the Crumpets and Tea Shoppe that is down the street from where she lives. She goes there everyday after school with her soon-to-be mother. She always gets the same thing from the bakery, and whenever Izzy cannot make it, she always whines and complains. She has her father make it up for her by either taking her there twice in one day, or by taking her there the moment she complains. I can bet that Izzy would want to live there! She absolutely loves that bakery, and if she were ever not able to go for some reason, she would definitely have a hissy fit.

I am reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, I am on page 220. One character in my book is Mr. Weasley, he is the father of seven wizard children and works in the muggle department of the misistry of magic. Mr. Weasley is very fond of muggles and collects muggle items, I think Mr. Weasley would want to visit a museum because of all the old non magical items there.

I am reading The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis, and I am on page.....Lucy is one of the main characters in the book. She is quite, curious, and the youngest of the four Pevensies. Throughout the series you can see the special bond between Lucy and Susan. Therefore I came to the conclusion that Lucy would want to travel to the United States because of the circumstances she was currently in, and her sister was there at the time. In the mean time, Lucy is stuck with her brother, and their cousin who they do not like because he is arrogant and mean. While Lucy and Edmund are there, Susan and their parents are traveling throughout the United States, although her parents could not afford to bring the rest of her siblings. If I were in Lucy's position I would be sad because I was away from my sister and instead was with her hated cousin. I felt throughout what I have read so far that Lucy also has this sorrowful feeling and separation anxiety from being away from her sister. That is why, I am sure Lucy would want to travel to the United States.

Jared- That book sounds interesting although I have never watched or read a star wars book or movie before. Also, how did you come to the conclusion that there are more assassination jobs in Asia? If that fact is true, I find it quite interesting.

I am reading Captivate by Carrie Jones and I am 14% of the way through the book.
The main character in my book, Zara, is slightly unique and hasn't been the same since her father died, which she watched him do. She spiraled into a depression and her parents started to worry about her, so they sent her to Maine to spend time with her grandmother until she could recover her true self - or at least, that's why they tell her they sent her.
Due to this, I think Zara would want to go back to her hometown for a while. Even though she is starting to like it in Maine, it is reminding her of how much she misses her father and the world she thought she knew was proven false. She has gotten involved in so much that she could get out of by going back home, which I think she is starting to want to do.

I just finished reading Deadly Little Games by Laurie Stolarz.

The main character, Camelia, is physchic, but she scts like a completely normal person. Nobody knows of her powers except her boyfriend, Ben, who is also physchic, and her two best friends, Kimmie and Wes. She also has a gift to sculp things with clay. Camelia's mom named her after the lizard, the Chameleon. In the book, this pops up multiple times, and the book talks about how when she sculps, she frequently sculps chameleons. I think that Camelia would really like to see a chameleon in real life and be able to see what they look like up close, so I think she would want to go to Madagascar, which is where half of the world's chameleons live.

MTracey- I want to go to Atlantis too! That would be a amazing experience, and I really wish it existed.

I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling and I’m on page 260.

One of the main characters in my book is Hermione. She’s very smart and knows just about anything that has to do with the wizard world. If Hermione could travel anywhere in the world I think she would go to the Hogwarts library. If she finds that she doesn’t know a certain topic she goes straight to he library to learn about that topic. For example, she signed up for a class called Ancient Runes but she had no idea what it was so she checked out a book called Ancient Runes Made Easy. Hermione just can’t stand to know nothing bout an important topic that someone else knows about. She also just has a love of reading. Hermione is one of those people who can read just about anything and not become bored with it.

The book that I just started is Bury Me in a Borrowed Suit by Troy Anderson. I am on page 36. The main character is Whitey Keller. He is a troubled boy who was born with a “club-foot” which is where the foot is turned inward. He had to wear special shoes that fixed his foot for over half his life. He is now in his 20’s and just got out of jail from spending less than 3 weeks there. I don’t really know much about Whitey other than that he was bullied for a good part of his life for being in special classes and having a lisp, but he overcame both. If I could guess anywhere he would want to go, it would just be home to his parents. He lives in an apartment with his roommate and had thought they had been evicted because his roommate Bill looked distant. He probably really misses his family though.

I think he would go to the Bahamas because at the start of this book, he is trapped in an empty white room for almost a month and throughout the entire series, he is faced with a lot of stress like being given a fatal disease. He would go to the Bahamas to rid himself of all the stress and just relax.

I just started reading North by Donna Jo Napoli and I am on page 23. The main character in this book is Alvin, an African-American boy who isn't very popular and has an overprotective mother. He is also a huge fan of Matthew Henson, a bold Arctic explorer. If he could travel anywhere in the world, it would probably be to the Arctic. He would want to travel here to get away from his life, which he dislikes because of his overprotective mother and how he is treated at school. In addition, he would want to follow in the footsteps of Matthew Henson. I have a feeling that Alvin will travel to the Arctic judging by the book title as well as the back cover.

I am reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher and I am on page 26. One of the main characters in my novel is Clay Jensen. He received a box of tape recordings in the mail, and opens them to find that they are recordings from his "heart throb" Hannah Baker. Hannah had committed suicide about a month ago, and these tapes are explaining the thirteen reasons why she killed herself. Clay really liked Hannah, and when he got these tapes and listened to them, he was devastated. So, has made it clear throughout the book that he does not like being in this situation of having to hear his crush stating the reasons why she committed suicide, and not having the ability to save her. So, if he could travel anywhere, he would go to a peaceful beach so that he can escape the horrible life that he is having to live with.

One of the characters in the book, Thomas Hammond (the main character) is very outgoing. The entire book is based on him traveling inside of of cave in a mountain because he is curious. Because of this I decided that the place Thomas would most want to travel to is the cave of crystals in Mexico. I think he would most want to travel here because he seems to be very interested in treasure. Crystals are kind of like a treasure so I think he would like to search in the cave and look for different kinds.

I just finished The Curious Case of Benjaminj Button.

The father in the book has always wanted to go to Ireland. He had to leave his family when he was younger so he could live a better life, but going back to see his family meant the world to him. Throughout the book, he talks about how he has to save up money to go there someday, but by the end of the book, he cares about Ben so much that he wouldn't mind if he gets to go or not. He had to spend most of his saving money to take care of his son.
